EMT part time Needed
Eagle Grove Emergency Medical Service in Eagle Grove is accepting applications for 2 part-time EMT. Applicants must have a current Iowa EMT certification. Employment applications are available at the Eagle Grove Ambulance office, 210 E. Broadway, Eagle Grove IA 50533
Hours:
2nd shift 1600-0000
Weekend hours are 12 hour shifts 0600-1800 or 1800-0600 Saturday and Sunday
Includes every other weekend.
Duties include:
Weekly washing of Rig and Equipment Checks
Responding to 911 calls from the station.
Monthly Inventory Checks
General upkeep of the shed and garage.
Other duties to be determined as needed.
Requirements:
State of Iowa EMT or Advanced EMT certification
CPR Certification
Valid Driver’s License
Mandatory Report (Child and Adult)
ICS 100 & 200
NIMS 700 and 800
HIPAA
Background Check
Pre-employment Physical
Applicants must be reliable, have a good work ethic, and should have, at the minimum, a general understanding of the operational and patient care components of their scope of practice, work well with others, be capable of working under stressful situations, take initiative, and contribute to the continuous improvement and efficiency of the operation of Eagle Grove Emergency Medical Services.
Continuing Education opportunities and monthly training provided in addition to an annual clothing allowance. Pay based on experience and applicant’s scope of practice.
